John Bilek

John Bilek brings over 20 years of elite real estate sales and management experience to his role as National Head of Sales Management at Compass. A proven mentor with exceptional marketing skills, he is responsible for the growth and expansion of the Compass brand and for supporting the company's mission of helping people find their place in the world..

John began his real estate career as a sales associate and quickly climbed the ranks to place among the top 2 percent of Realtors nationwide. He then moved into management directing a $150-million sales office and became Regional VP, responsible for Southeastern Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware. At Compass, John has served as Managing Director in Philadelphia, and most recently has been appointed National Head of Sales Management. Throughout his career, John has managed more than $10 billion in real estate sales. Prior to real estate, he worked in management consulting with PwC. He and his family reside in Centreville, Delaware, where they enjoy the area's great small-town vibe combined with easy accessibility. In his free time, John enjoys athletic pursuits, including skiing, squash and golf; creative pursuits, such as drawing and painting; and spending time with his three daughters.
