John Britton

Grayco Partners’ Chief Operating Officer, John Britton, brings more than 18 years of multifamily and commercial real estate expertise to the company, where he also serves as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Over his career, John has concentrated on real estate equity and debt structuring, as well as commercial property development.

Mr. Britton served until early 2006 as Managing Director of a locally based private real estate equity fund, where he specialized on structuring and placing joint venture equity for commercial and multifamily real estate development projects. He also directed the firm’s commercial development program, overseeing the development of office building projects in Austin, Texas and Portland, Oregon. Prior to that, he held several debt- and capital-related positions at the vice president and director levels at Prudential Realty Group.

Mr. Britton has managed more than $1 billion of real estate transaction volume during his career. He holds a BBA in Finance & Real Estate, and an MBA, both from the University of Texas.
