John Chapin

The opportunity to harness a host of skills derived from a lifetime of residential and commercial real estate transactions in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire brought John to the Sotheby's International Realty family in 2019.

Nineteen years ago, John and his wife took the leap to move to the Upper Connecticut River Valley. Returning to his love of hospitality, he launched the Canoe Club, a restaurant and live music venue in Hanover, NH that he operated for 14 years. Over the past dozen years, John has served on the Advisory Committee of the Hopkins Center at Dartmouth, as a consultant to the Upper Valley Land Trust, and as a director of the Dartmouth Club of the Upper Valley.
