John Coontz

John Coontz serves as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor with SVN.

In this capacity, he brings a depth of knowledge in and around the greater Winchester, Virginia community. He is a generalist in the depth of market knowledge and present commercial uses within the broader market. His field of specialty is focused in the analysis and application of uses within the field of industrial properties, however has respectable focus on other commercial applications such as retail and office uses.

Previously Coontz was most successful in the field of engineering and manufacturing management, giving him 36 years of in depth experience in analysis and application of systems and processes of a wide industrial nature. This experience can be directly applied to his present position with SVN in the analytical application of the brokerage of commercial real estate, and most particularly in the field of industrial uses. His experience in this specialty field was gained through employment with such notable companies as Rubbermaid, O’Sullivan, Federal Mogul and Remy International.

More recently Coontz has worked with Keller Williams Real Estate, Invenio Marketing Solutions and Kern Motor Company, rounding his experience in the sales field.

Coontz is a native of Winchester with his education as a graduate of James Wood High School and Lord Fairfax Community College. His community involvement has been as a coach for 22 years with the Blue Ridge Soccer Association.
