John Dunn

John is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson specializing in the Fair?eld County market. He was a Gold Award winner for 2018 and 2019 and Platinum Award winner in 2020 with more than $40 million+ dollars in sales while with Houlihan Lawrence.

John was thrilled to join the Compass Connecticut New Canaan office in April 2021 and achieved RealTrends Top Agent status with more than $22 million+ dollars in sales. What truly sets John apart are the bonds he forms with his clients evidenced by his numerous glowing testimonials. In January 2022 John began a 3-year term serving as a Director on the New Canaan Board of Realtors and is a member of the New Canaan and SMART MLS.

John is happily married to his wife, Alix, who is a Wella Company Senior Exec and a part time rock star. John is a proud dad to Jack, a senior at NYU Tisch studying ?lm and TV, and the biggest cheerleader to daughters Katie, who is a sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill, and Julia, a junior at New Canaan High School active in both the Theater and basketball programs. John and his family are living in their third New Canaan home and have loved each and every one of them.

Prior to embarking on his real estate career, John was an award-winning marketing executive and a multiple CTAM Mark Award winner for HBO. He had a 13-year professional acting career and was voted "Best Juvenile Actor" by Soap Opera Digest for the role of Tad Martin on "All My Children".

John graduated from New York University and is very involved in his community. He has volunteered his time as a Cal Ripken Certi?ed Little League Coach; is on the Advisory Board for the Carriage Barn Arts Center; and is a former New York State Certi?ed volunteer ?reman.
