As Managing Director Investments in the San Francisco office, John brings significant marketing and transaction expertise to Marcus Millichap. He represents clients in the disposition and acquisition of multifamily properties in Northern California, with a focus on the San Francisco Bay Area. John has industry leading expertise in Marin, Napa and Sonoma. John became a licensed real estate broker in 2004 and joined Marcus Millichap in 2012. John was raised in the city of Santa Rosa and has deep roots in Napa County where his family has been active winegrowers since the early 1950’s. Currently, John resides with his wife and four daughters in Sonoma County.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from UCLA, John started his career in the technology industry working for major companies like Oracle Corporation and IAC/Interactive, before his entrepreneurial spirit led him to found several of his own businesses. This same entrepreneurial spirit is what led John to real estate, where as both a broker and investor/operator of multifamily properties John thrives on the creativity of helping his clients identify compelling investment opportunities and develop strategies that create value and help them grow their wealth
