John Guard IV

John Guard IV has had the good fortune of being a lifelong resident of the beautiful island of Maui. He grew up in Upcountry Maui and has chosen to raise his family on the North Shore and Upcountry Maui. John has supported the family business, The Pet Shop in the Maui Mall, since 1973. With a background as an athlete, he pursued his passion for health optimization by earning a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University in 1994. Afterward, he worked as a Personal Trainer at the Grand Wailea Resort and Maui Family YMCA, helping others optimize their health.

John's focus on optimization shifted towards real estate, leading him to become a Real Estate Agent in 1998. For over 20 years, he has been helping friends, family, and treasured clients in the Maui real estate markets of Upcountry, North Shore, and Wailea. John genuinely enjoys assisting people in fulfilling their real estate needs, whether it involves finding a first-time home, selling their home or investment property, building an investment property, or working on investment portfolio objectives.
