John Horton Jr Is a phenomenal realtor. I have been renting homes for years and he was definitely the best realtor I've ever used. He met all my expectations and more. I highly recommend him for any of your future rentel and house purchasing needs. He treats both of them the same. Most realtors pay no mind to people who want to rent. They just push you to buy but John is the exact opposite! I do consider us friends after our experience and have stayed in contact with him because he does not only care about the deal he actually finds a place for your family to grow and live. Always very prompt on returning any of my phone calls with most of my calls were answered right away. Mr. Horton will always be our go to man when the time comes for us to purchase our second home. I listed my residential lot for sale with John Horton, Jr. I suggested to him a price that I would be happy with and that I thought I could get for the lot. He got back with me and suggested we try a price that was thousands of dollars higher than my suggestion. Of course I said we could certainly try it and see what happens. We could always lower the price if he got no serious inquiries. I was pleasantly surprised that John received an offer lower than the price he listed, but higher than the price I had originally suggested. A couple of counter offers went back and forth and the final accepted price was only $2,000 less than the listed price... which was still thousands of more dollars than I suggested.
