John McKenna

Background and Experience

A Seattle native who has lived on both the East and West
Coasts and abroad, John brings a unique perspective to the very local business
of real estate. French major, tech geek, movie buff, hiker, skier, cook, world
traveler, and hard worker are all terms that describe him.

In 2007, after a decade as a Technical Project Manager in
the banking and financial services sector, John joined Windermere to start his
career in real estate sales. Thirteen years working in the fast-paced and
competitive Seattle metro market prepared him for whatever ups and downs might
come along in any real estate situation. John became a Palm Springs homeowner
in 2018 and relocated here permanently in 2020, excited to offer his expertise
to clients in this beautiful part of the world.

Philosophy

Real Estate is serious business but when done right it’s
also a lot of fun. John believes that his job is to be an advocate, advisor,
consultant, and sometimes a therapist. John is there for his clients before,
during, and after the transaction because he believes in building life-long
business relationships, and quite often friendships as well. The job doesn’t
end when the sale closes! He likes nothing better than when a past client calls
him up to ask for advice about a remodel or to find out what the latest is on
sales in the neighborhood. Or just to catch up over a cup of coffee or a beer.
