In addition to over fifteen years in real estate brokerage, John has a wealth of experience in the finance and construction of commercial and industrial property, and as an early adherent to energy conservation and green building - firsthand experience with both energy efficient construction and alternative energy features. He designed and built his own passive solar house in the early days of solar energy.

Currently a director of the Southeastern Vermont Realtor board, John has served as president and elected as Realtor of the Year in 2015. He is committed to integrity in the practice of real estate and believes in the importance of educating clients and customers in all aspects of property ownership.

Father of twin sons in their thirties, John lives in Brattleboro with his wife, Sandy, in their 1850's "Vermont Italianate" house. When not working, he finds time to get outside to hike and explore back roads and trails on his mountain bike.
