Raised in Malibu, California, John Ordean moved to Maui, Hawaii, in 1985, where he successfully ran a small business while pursuing his passions for surfing and deep-sea fishing.
In 2003, seeking a dramatic lifestyle change, John and his wife relocated to Park City, Utah. There, he teamed up with Jonathan Olch, the principal broker at Bald Eagle Realty and a 30-year veteran of the Park City high-end real estate market. Under Jonathan’s mentorship, John quickly became the top-selling agent at Bald Eagle Realty in his first year.
During his time at Prudential Real Estate from 2007 to 2009, John earned both the Chairman’s Circle Platinum Award and the President’s Circle Award, accolades reserved for the top-producing agents. His keen insight into market trends allowed him to guide his clients through the challenges of the 2008 downturn, helping them secure properties at historically low prices, which positioned them for substantial returns when the market recovered.
In 2010, John took on a new challenge as the Principal Broker and Owner of Bald Eagle Realty. Working alongside his brother, Jason Ordean, and real estate expert Tasia Steffensen as part of the Ordean/Steffensen Group, John continues to lead in the luxury real estate market. With over $1 billion in sales and a reputation for providing the highest level of service, the group offers unparalleled expertise in Park City and beyond.
