John Thomas Sinclair started the Broker Sinclair Team in Coeur d’Alene several years ago. His main focus is on marketing listings and getting them sold for the most amount of money in the least amount of time. Stephen Preston leads our buyer side and does an outstanding job digging deep to figure out what buyers really want in their dream home. Working with Stephen is a treat, buyers really love the way he digs deep on their needs to figure out what is most important to them in a home.

If you follow his blog or Facebook posts, you’ll quickly learn that he’s an open book. He says what he thinks and keeps it honest. If the market is repressed, he’ll be the first to tell you. If he finds a real deal, then you’ll see it in his passion for what he is selling.

Born in rural West Tennessee, he’s been a Realtor since 1998. He fell in love with real estate while watching a real estate infomercial when he was 16. He saved all the money he could and bought his first rental house when he was 18. A good friend showed him how he could make a living helping other people buy and sell what he was passionate about. That seemed like a no brainer. Today he continues sharing his passion with others and earning a living along the way.

John and his wife moved to Coeur d’Alene in 2005. He went from not knowing anyone in town to the top selling agent in a company with 150 agents in 3 years. Sometimes when you have a passion for something like he does, you just can’t help but to share it! He really does love his job.

They love raising their family in Coeur d’Alene. Coeur d’Alene truly is a wonderland for families. The majestic mountains disappear into the crystal-clear waters of Lake Coeur d’Alene and Hayden Lake. His favorite two days to be in Coeur d’Alene are without a doubt the 4th of July and the Friday after Thanksgiving. On both of those days the night sky lights up with fireworks over Lake Coeur d’Alene. In the winter we ski at Schweitzer Mountain or Lookout Pass. Both are an hour’s drive from his front door! On hot summer days they hang out at the beach or Silverwood Theme-park. Both in his backyard!
