John was terrific...He knew what we were looking for, he found those houses, he showed us the houses. He pointed out different aspects of the homes that we should be aware of, both pros and cons. He fought for us and was friendly and knowledgeable with all our questions. If he didn't have an answer at the moment, he had an answer very soon. GREAT!!! My wife and I were in dire need to get into a home that was within price range, good school zone, and other specific needs, quickly. We were leery about aggressive or dishonest agents as we have had bad experiences in the past, and we did not have anyone in mind; so we contacted ERA for Salisbury. Mr. Terrell picked up the phone, ready to help. Through my wives tough screening, John calmed our reservations, and walked us through every step of the process, thoroughly detailing each task we needed to accomplish, and explaining each step that he was taking. His mild demeanor, and modest but helpful attitude betrayed his explanation of being a retired, barely-past-rookie agent. He repeatedly went above and beyond - much more than we had the last time we purchased a house, and had extensive knowledge of the area and the process. It seemed like John had done this a million times. The wife and I both had the impression that John was in the field many years, and had our best interests at heart. He was honest, never tried to push us into anything, and most importantly, listened to what we wanted and tried to accommodate us. John helped us look through listings in and around Salisbury, and Zillow.com was a big help in finding homes, as well as all pertinent information. Mr. Terrell never missed a call, took the pain out of the entire experience, was courteous and calm, knew the area intimately, and assisted us in the awkward process of negotiation.
