John Thor

Experience: I was licensed in real estate in the State of California in May of 1989. My first development endeavor was to construct a 7000 square foot retail and office complex on State Highway 41 in Oakhurst California in 1991. I then developed a 2.5 acre 10 lot residential project at Bass Lake in the Sierra foothills of Central California in 1992. In 1996 I was instrumental in the land purchase, lease and sale of three medical clinics for Kaiser Permanente. I am currently a Commercial agent with Thor Commercial Real Estate Inc. working both sales and leasing. I managed two Offices for Coldwell Banker Premier Real Estate for 7 years before going on my own 3 years ago. I have been instrumental in site selection and development for the hospitality industry as well as the purchase and sale of existing properties. I have been working with independent hotel and motel owners as well as corporate franchise clients. I currently have 5 motel/hotel projects under development. I currently have 3 existing properties in escrow. I am a candidate for the CCIM designation and have been in the top 5% of commercial realtors for the past 11 years. I have been awarded the CoStar Power Broker award for the years 2009, 2011 and 2015 where I was in the Top 10 in the Fresno Metro area for sales and in 2015 I was in the Top 10 for leasing also.
