John Townsend

John Townsend is a lifelong Lafayette resident with deep roots in the community. A Lafayette Jefferson High School graduate, he served four years in the U.S. Marines in Beaufort, SC, before returning home in 1998 to dedicate 23 years to the Lafayette Police Department.
Married to his high school sweetheart for nearly 32 years, John and his wife have raised six children right here in Lafayette.
