John is an exceptional realtor who is attentive to the wants and needs of his clients. He understands the nuances of the DMV real estate market, and always gave us sound, helpful advice on how to manage our search effectively. In the end we landed a property that we are delighted with and exceeds our expectations. He works with capable, experienced partners and we always knew we were in good hands. He is also incredibly patient, compassionate and just a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend him more highly!

We had the pleasure of having John as our real estate agent, and his patience in this crazy market was very much appreciated. John always made time for us when we wanted to see a house and even accommodated us on the very same day on multiple occasions. He never pushed us to make an offer on a house regardless of whether we loved the house or not, he left that decision up to us and that is commendable. He was always punctual to our appointments and very understanding when we were running late and I personally appreciated his honest answers on tough questions and how well-informed he was on the house we were seeing. John was very responsive to texts, emails, phone calls and went above and beyond to communicate any important information he had along the way. Through multiple offer denials John continued to show his patience, honesty, politeness, punctuality and his determination to the very end and we cannot thank him enough for helping us find a new home. We just bought a home through our realtor, John Yu and could not be happier with the service and professionalism provided by him. Not only is John extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise, but he is also respectful, patient, friendly and really goes out of his way to make sure your best interests are at the forefront at any step of the process.
John is also very communicative and is always in constant communication with his clients, and very quick to respond to any questions or requests. I sometimes wondered how much sleep John got. He is that hard working!
He truly considers you a friend more than a client. We have known John since a friend recommended him to us while we were looking for a rental 2 years ago. Since then, it has been a pleasure knowing him and we feel extremely lucky to have him as our real estate agent. This current market is a very tough one for buyers, but thanks to John's help, we were able to buy without having to do a crazy over asking price offer. Anyone who gets to work with John Yu is lucky and blessed!

I have had the pleasure of working with John twice now (as a buyer a few years ago and more recently as a seller). His knowledge of current market trends and impressive negotiating prowess has allowed me to effectively time the sale of my home to lock in a very competitive price! As many others have also shared, my wife and I deeply appreciated the time and effort John took to answer all of our questions and concerns throughout the entire selling process (starting from initiating a selling strategy, reviewing/assessing offers and walking us through inspections and appraisals). John’s engagement and professionalism turned what could have been a stressful process into a very smooth and seamless transaction. On a more personal note, it was just so welcoming to work with such a hardworking and honest person. Needless to say, we are looking forward to using his services again when we find our next home!

I have known John as a colleague and friend for three years. We decided to have him represent us in our search for a new rental property. From the time of consultation to selling our home in VA to buying a new home in MD, John have been so friendly and patient with us and always kept our best interest in mind. John has been great and is really provisional and very responsive. He works very hard to make sure everything runs smooth and makes sure that everything is relayed and reaponded too. He also will help with getting your place cleaned up and help move you if needed. I highly recommend him.
