John first impressed my wife and I when we had our first meeting. Not only did he conduct thorough research on the market and developed a strategic approach, but also presented everything very well and in a clear and concise manner. His knowledge on the Philadelphia housing market, cost of renovations and new construction, allowed him to set a target price and brand the home in such a way that had potential buyers lining up and making offers. John had also kept open lines of communication in regards to the process, and addressed any and all of our questions and concerns with in an hour or two. During the entire process, John made us feel that we are his #1 client. We were so impressed with John, that my wife and I are now enlisting his services as a buying agent for our new home.

My husband and I had been looking for a house in Lower Merion Township for year prior to working with John. We had a very bad experience with a short sale and couldn’t find anything that fit our needs and were ready to give up altogether. When we brought John on as our realtor our experience took a 180 turn. At our first meeting with him, he came with no less than 10 listings for our consideration, all of which had notations as to why we should consider these properties and how they met our search criteria. John took it upon himself to tour the properties prior to showing them to us to make sure that they could be to our liking. When we finally found a home that we wanted to put an offer in on, we were disappointed to learn that there were two other offers on the table. John spoke with the selling agent to get a better sense of what the seller was looking for and helped negotiate the sale for us . I am confident that is because of John’s negotiations and advice that we were able to purchase this property at a fair price. Because this house needed a fair amount of work, John also calculated what he thought the cost of renovation would be and factored that in to our offer price. John went above and beyond what was expected of him and I am extremely grateful for the excellent service he provided.

John was extremely helpful in the purchase of our new home. He went above and beyond any realtor I’ve worked with in the past. He is very knowledgeable and helped answer any question we had throughout the entire process. He also previewed homes for us to make sure they were ones we would be interested in and to save us time-if that’s not too service, I don’t know what is! Highly recommend!

My husband found John by pure luck! We were looking to sell our home and side lot at the time (Not the easiest task). He showed up to our home for a consultation on time and prepared with a print out of a marking plan for our house and lot. Through the process John was always on time (huge for us considering we have 3 young kids), extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. We are excited that he’ll be helping us also find our new home! We would highly recommend John Zloza.

John helped my wife and I buy our first home in Philadelphia and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. We found him completely by chance by calling a number at the bottom of a listing - he wasn't even the listing agent - and liked him enough to go see houses with him later that same week. John is very up front about taking your preferences into account. He also flips houses himself, so he can comment on the craftsmanship in lots of the new construction and renovations happening in Philadelphia. He recommended a first mortgage program for us that we looked into and eventually got, which will result in a huge tax benefit for us throughout the years we own the home. John was very helpful mediating between us and our financing options when we were at loggerheads with our bank. He was flexible when our closing was pushed back and was an effective negotiator with the seller at all points. I recommend John completely.

As first time home buyers, we spoke to quite a number of realtors before deciding to go with John, and were so glad we did. He was very responsive, and listened to our goals and preferences up front. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about what was on the market, as well as the overall home buying process, which was invaluable since we had little knowledge to start out with, much less on a new construction home which had additional things to navigate.

He pre-screened homes extremely well which allowed us to use our time efficiently. We thought it would take us 3-6 months to find something we liked, but we're able to make a decision in less than 2 months on a house we love. He was also very helpful in the negotiation process and stuck with us all the through to the closing. We were quite pleased with our experience and would both recommend him and work with him in the future.

John was polite, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We approached him to sell our rental property, and within 5 days he met us with a complete list of comps and a game plan in order to sell the property. John's advice was spot on, and we were able to move the house quickly, and for a good price as well. The overall experience was awesome!! We would use John again in the future.

John helped my family and I buy our second home when we moved from Buffalo to the Philadelphia area. We came to John on very short notice and needed to find a house within a few weeks. He was extremely helpful. He narrowed down the market to houses that: met our requirements, were in our budget, and were in family friendly areas (good schools, reasonable taxes, parks, etc.). We made an offer on the second house John showed us and got the deal signed that weekend! It was really a great deal! John continued to be helpful throughout and after the closing process. He still checks in with us from time to time to see how everything is going with the now not so new house. I cannot say enough good things about John and highly recommend him for buying or selling a home. We will definitely be using John again when it is time to sell.
