Jon Gooley

In his time with our team, we’ve found Jon Gooley to be intelligent, strong, determined, and one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet. As a buyer’s agent, Jon’s approach is less about sales. Instead, he focuses on the coaching and development aspect of working with homebuyers. “I don’t have to sell anything if I’m busy coaching and developing clients’ awareness of what to look for, how to find a home that meets their needs, what to expect with the offer and negotiation process, and how to get through a transaction. An educated buyer is a competent buyer, and those are the ones who will be successful in this market.”

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Jon graduated from the University of Oregon and lived in Montana and Germany. Though, he remains partial to Oregon. “Where else are you an hour away from all outdoor activities at all times?” Jon resides in the Tigard area with his wife, Victoria, also a buyer’s agent.

When not working, Jon and his wife stay plenty busy with travel, cooking, woodworking and metalworking, pop culture, brewing, gardening, fishing, hunting, hiking, backpacking, watching the Vegas Golden Knights play hockey, and hanging with their pets. “I have a gorgeous cat named Bilbo who wants your attention but also hates you. Our German shepherd, Uhtred, is a sweet angel unless you’re a squirrel.”

He says, “I’m always interested in meeting someone new, and if I can help them with one of the largest events of their life, even better!”
