About Jon

Jon joined WPG-FPG with an extensive and diverse Homebuilding history. Most recently he held the Division President position for Taylor Morrison Homes. He was previously the Regional President for William Lyon Homes, which was acquired by Taylor Morrison in February 2020. Prior to joining William Lyon Mr. Robertson spent 18 years at private homebuilder California Pacific Homes as Senior Vice President, which was a primary contributor to the merchant homebuilder program on the Irvine Ranch.

Mr. Robertson has been actively responsible for over 25,000 homes and apartments during his 40 years as a Home Builder. He holds a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a licensed Civil Engineer.

Jon served the Building Industry association of Orange County Board as President in 2003 and was awarded Southern California Builder of the Year in 2005. He was an integral leader in establishing the Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA) in 2001, which now serves over 30 High Schools throughout the state of California.

Jon and his wife Joni have been married for 38 years, and together share a son Chris, Daughter Lauren and three grandchildren Avery and twins Theo and Harris.

Jon’s hobbies include woodworking, snow skiing and is proud to have completed the New York Marathon in 2009.
