About Jon

John's interest in the field of senior care began when his grandfather, at age 80, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. His grandparents were fortunate to have the financial resources and family support needed to effectively manage the disease and anticipate his grandfather’s needs.

Over time, it became more difficult for his family to ensure they were providing adequate care for him. During this time he began to consider how complex helping an aging family member, specifically with dementia, must be for people who don’t have available information, financial resources and support.

He has therefore dedicated himself to working in the field of aging. He received a master’s degree from USC in Aging Services Management and he has worked for over ten years in the field of senior management and in home support for the elderly.
