Jonathan represented us as we searched for our current house. He worked hard to find us a home in a manner that showed character and heart. Caught in a bidding war, we received critical input from him on a strategy that won the house.
Jonathan advised and coordinated all aspects of the buying process through closing which allowed us to avoid much of the stress. His responsiveness,
expertise and guidance were excellent throughout.
Although we originally intended to sell our previous house, Jonathan showed us how we could retain and rent it, using the rents as an income stream. We placed the property under Live Oak for management and are
now in our third year with the company. Using the house as an investment was not something we would normally do, being concerned that managing the property would become too time consuming. It turns out that Live Oak manages everything from renters to maintenance, making this a big win for us. Our experiences with Jonathan have been the best anyone could hope for in real estate, and we strongly recommend him.

Wow! Live Oak knows what they’re doing. Jonathan represented us as our Buyer’s Agent for an out-of-state purchase of an investment property. He has the trifecta of knowledge as an Agent, a Property Manager, and a handyman – so he was able to shepherd us through many listings/showings to find the perfect property in a hot market. Always receptive to our needs and requests. When the seller threw curve balls, Live Oak still hit a home run, closing on time in 30 days. We give Live Oak our highest recommendation for any real estate needs in Hampton Roads!

Live Oak Real Estate was wonderful to work with! We sold our home and bought a new one through Live Oak and couldn't be happier. On the sale side of things, Jon brings a wealth of knowledge to the table that we just did not have. From staging, getting good photographs, to knowing about the repairs/contracting, he was always able to answer our questions. During sale negotiations he was always fair and told us what was and was not a realistic expectation- truly guided us through our first selling process and made it so easy. On the buying side, he set up dozens of showings, dealt with unique bumps in our buying journey, and happily wrote up offers. We were buying on a limited budget during peak season so it was a bit of a process- but I never once felt like we were an inconvenience. When we did find our dream home, in our budget even, Jon truly went above and beyond to help us get this house.
