Joni Freeman

Joni Freeman is the Principal Broker and founder of JL Marsaw & Co Realtors. Her unique journey to real estate began with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana. Although transitioning from healthcare to real estate might seem unconventional, both fields share a strong commitment to service and helping others achieve their goals.

In her healthcare career, Joni was dedicated to improving the well-being of her patients with personalized care and expert guidance. She brings that same passion for service to her real estate practice, understanding that buying, selling, or investing in real estate is a significant decision, similar to making important health choices. Her healthcare background has instilled a meticulous attention to detail, a focus on education, and a deep responsibility for her clients’ well-being.

As a REALTOR®, Joni holds several key designations and certifications, including Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), New Home Co-Broker (NHCB), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR). She also has extensive experience managing both residential transactions and renovation projects, ensuring comprehensive service for her clients.

With years of practical experience in real estate and advanced certifications endorsed by the National Association of Realtors, Joni brings a high level of expertise and dedication to her work. Joni is a graduate of the Milestone Circles Program hosted by the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and the 2021 Real Estate Bootcamp hosted by The Real Estate Council. She currently serves as the 2024 Vice Chair of the MetroTex Young Professionals Network and is a member of the MetroTex Budget and Finance Committee and has served previously in the 2024 MetroTex Professional Development Advisory Group.
