Jordan Barnes

Jordan fully intended to be an astronaut. After growing up in Columbia, she started college with her eyes on the stars, only to realize that to get there, she was going to have to do physics. Lots of physics. As it turns out, physics isn’t her thing. She found herself confused, aimless, piling up student debt, and taking solace in her classic time-wasting routine: looking at houses online. Seeking a direction, she happily went from part-time to full-time at a local bank, finished her degree in Sociology, and spent the next 7 years in the banking and finance industry. In 2019, she dove into real estate and she's so glad she did. Jordan loves what she does.

None of that has much to do with real estate, but it does have a lot to do with her, and how she got to the point where she can best serve you. She knows what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, which you may be feeling as you start the process of buying or selling your home. Jordan wants to take the time to get to know you and your goals, and then guide you through each step of your transaction with those goals in mind. Though Jordan can’t promise you an issue-free deal, she can promise that she will be a reliable, hardworking partner to you and find creative solutions when things don’t go to plan.

Sacrificing your comfort or financial goals will never be worth a little extra commission to Jordan. She hopes the client relationship will not end with closing but will lead to future coffee catch-ups, texts for contractor recommendations, and play dates for human or dog babies. She wants you to feel at home in mid-Missouri, in whichever house you choose, and when working with her. Jordan can help get you where you want to go.
