We can't recommend Jordan and The Rich Team enough. We ended up purchasing our first home right during the 2021/2022 heyday of prices/rising interest rates, and it was so daunting -- but Jordan explained everything and more that we would need to know to feel confident making the best decisions for us. Throughout the entire process, he was always just a call away. His responsiveness, reliability communicating important information quickly, and knowledge about the market and the best strategies to utilize helped us secure the home of our dreams. Not only were we able to end up with a wonderful house, but it appraised for more than we bought it for, giving us instant equity before we even turned the key to move in. Ned Rich was a wonderful realtor. He is careful to reduce the dreaded tensions of selling a home, he gets a good price quickly, and is extremely helpful with all the messy details of selling your home and moving. By the time the job was finished we had become good friends and partners. I will definitely use him again the next time we step into the housing market.

Experience, team work, knowledgeable... those are just a few of the words that should come to mind when you are considering a real estate agent. Just so happens that the Rich Team employs them all, and many more. We received more than our money's worth in guidance, patience and expertise. The Washington D.C. Metropolitan area is neither the market nor the time to let a newbie handle your real estate needs. Go with the pros! They know just about everyone in the biz and had us prepared for every twist and turn this crazy real estate game had to offer. Simply put, we were looking for our forever home, and the Rich Team found it and then got us to the finish line. They are your one stop shop. And now we are having them sell our current property. Wouldn't think of using anyone else.

Using Redfin to buy a home is like using the ATM at 7-Eleven to do your banking. Using Ned Rich to buy a home is like being a client of the private bank at Credit Suisse in Zurich. It’s a completely different level of service. The crazy thing is that both services cost about the same. Redfin and other apps use gig economy workers who may or may not know the areas in which they’re working. Ned grew up in the DC area and graduated from Sidwell Friends. He knows the city and its suburbs better than anyone. What’s more, he has been in residential real estate through all the booms and busts. He has developed credibility with banks, appraisers, and most of all with other real estate agents who know and respect him. That means he has the inside scoop on a lot of things that an agent working for an app will never see. Ned is unfailingly polite and patient. He is never pushy or in “sales mode”. He offers genuine expertise that is the product of over 25 years in the business. If you want to save a few bucks on closing costs, go with Redfin. If you want to find the perfect house for you and your family with the minimum amount of hassle, then call Ned Rich as soon as you finish reading this. He is really that good.

I have known Ned Rich for 30 years. During that time I did 3 major real estate transactions with him. The first one in 1990 was notorious among real estate agents in NW Washington and Bethesda-Chevy Chase due to navigating the tremendously difficult personalities involved. Ned exhibited the negotiating and diplomacy skills that secured the deal and got us through closing. When it came time to sell that house about 10 years later, Ned had graduated to management but still provided us hands-on and valuable assistance. Most recently, I was faced with being the executor of an estate and had to deal with selling the contents, doing repairs, and selling the home. Ned was there every step of the way to help me find the an estate liquidator (not easy when the estate isn't large), find good repair people, and set the right price in a slow market. Over the 30 years, Ned's son grew up and is now in partnership with his dad. He is a very impressive young man, once more validating the saying, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
