The property had unique contingencies in place through a City program, and Jo expertly navigated us through this more complex process. We especially appreciated her guidance in evaluating and negotiating offers and communicating with the various parties involved in the transaction. Jo is well known among the service providers we interacted with through the process, and has established a reputation as capable, experienced, and professional. I've worked with Jo twice and wouldn't work with anyone else. She is smart, savvy, yet down-to-earth and easy to talk to. She is very patient and always willing to take the time to answer questions and teach. She knows how to improve a home to sell without breaking the bank, what a home is likely to sell for and where the market is going, all while being a pleasure to work with. You can't do better than Jo.

Jo Vallejo of Hearth Stone Properties provided an enjoyable experience before, during, and after the purchase of my first home. The past five years, I have discussed the topic of a house purchase with Jo. She has been flexible until I was personally was ready to start the search. During my search for a home and once I found one, she answered my many questions, even if it took a couple of hours or into the evening. Jo offered her helpful feedback based on my interests and short and long-term needs and helped me find the right home and in the right neighborhood. Since the purchase, Jo has continued to efficiently answer my questions. Jo of Hearthstone helped us sell our first home & buy our second home in the summer of 2020. She was very easy to work with, and communicated with us all the time. She helped us fix up and stage our first home so that we could sell it, and she helped us look into all our options for a new home. When we sold our home & bought our new one, she helped us work out a deal with our buyers and our sellers. I highly recommend Jo Vallejo as your realtor!

Whether you are buying or selling a home, Jo is the person to go with! She works very fast, and is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She knows the market and what needs to be done to get the best price for your house. She helps you fill out, or even does, most of the paperwork. She responds quickly to any inquiry and finds a way to solve any issue that arises. She works with a great handyman and cleaning crew, to prepare your new house for move in and your old house for sale. Even after the sale is complete, she's totally available and responds with the same care. In short, she's incredible.

Jo Vallejo is a terrific realtor and a wonderful person to work with. She helped us find and purchase our new home in Davis as well as handling the sale of our old home. She calmly and expertly guided us through the entire process. She is knowledgeable, professional, efficient, pleasant and friendly.

Jo knows the current trends in the housing market as well as the subtle differences between individual neighborhoods. She understood our needs and desires for a new home and patiently guided us all over to view many many homes before we finally found the right one. Jo helped us with all aspects of our purchase from pointing out pros and cons of different homes (many aspects which we would never have noticed or considered) to assessing costs of purchase and renovation. She helped us with negotiations and with all the purchasing paperwork.

When the time came to sell our home, Jo gave us expert advice about what improvements to make so our home would be more attractive to buyers. Not only did she have great ideas about what to do, but she was able to get proficient tradesmen to make the improvements quickly. We followed all her advice, including asking price and other selling points and are very glad we did. We had offers the first day our home went on the market, and again Jo advised us throughout the negotiation process, then helped close the sale.

We had not bought or sold a home for over 30 years, and we badly needed help. We are so grateful to Jo for helping us in every way throughout the process. She was a joy to work with, and we are very pleased with all her work. We highly recommend her!

Jo Vallejo is an amazing realtor. We bought our second home in Dixon several years ago and she did a fantastic job. She was very attentive to our needs, knowledgeable about the process and she really went the extra mile in helping us sell our old house. She is friendly, kind and personable. Everything about buying a selling a home is stressful but with Jo the whole process was pretty much pain free. We highly recommend her!

There is a reason that Jo has been voted Best Realtor in Yolo County two years in a row. We trusted her with the sale of our house and the purchase of a new one. For the sale of our house, she not only advised us what was best to do to prepare for the sale, she got people in to do the necessary work, and she staged it beautifully. We knew the staging was outstanding, but when we looked for a new house to buy, we saw how much better her presentation was than anyone else's on the market. Our house sold in less than a day. She patiently accompanied us on the search for a new house, giving her experienced opinion on the multiple factors involved. She stood by us in a long negotiation for the house we did eventually buy, and then she helped us get the needed repair work done and city permits cleared. Choose Jo--she will put her whole effort into your selling or buying.
