Joseph Oster

Joe Oster was born and raised in the Cleveland, Ohio area. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The University of Akron, Joe began his career in accounting with a large public accounting firm in Cleveland. This experience provided valuable insight into the various areas of accounting, audit taxation and business consulting. Joe earned his CPA certificate in Ohio and has held controller and CFO positions within several companies in various industries. Joe found his passion for the real estate industry while working for a large builder, developer and investor. As an investor in both Ohio and Florida, Joe pursued a life-long dream of owning his own real estate company and purchased Gulf Coast Management Group in June of 2014. Joe’s open and honest approach with owners, tenants and vendors is the cornerstone that enables the company to build long-lasting business relationships. Building relationships and operating with integrity enables the goal of providing the highest returns for the owner investor to be achieved consistently. Joe is not only highly skilled in property management, but as a result of his vast accounting experience, he is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of real estate investing using Self-directed IRA’s, real estate investing, 1031 exchanges and market analysis. Joe and his wife own rental property themselves and bring an owner perspective when running the property management business. His goal is to have each owner whose property is managed by Gulf Coast Realty and Property Management to have peace of mind that their unit is being managed by competent, caring people helping to maximize the highest returns on their investment.
