Josh Cheatham

Josh Cheatham is the newest principal of Newcor Commercial Real Estate. Prior to joining Newcor, Josh started his real estate career spending several years at NAI Houston before transitioning to Griffin Partners, a well-respected development and investment company. From there, Josh was a founding principal of Lee & Associates – Houston, where he played an integral role in growing the company from a handful of agents to being one of the Top 10 Firms in the City of Houston. Although these career achievements were extremely rewarding, he wanted to get back to his roots and relocated back to The Woodlands area to assist in the growth of Newcor.

Josh’s interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to think “outside the box” and develop strategic solutions, have been key qualities in solving complicated real estate assignments. His experience as a broker, development/investment partner, and business owner provides a well-rounded depth of knowledge and expertise to better serve his clients. In addition, Josh enjoys marketing, business development, and mentoring Associates to elevate their expertise in Commercial Real Estate. In 2011, he was recognized as the “Rising Star” for office tenant representation by the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) in Houston.
