Joshua Burton

Village Real Estate welcomes an Upper Cape specialist to its already extremely successful Osterville based team. Josh Burton earned his BS in Geology and Environmental Studies from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA and has been employed by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution for more than ten years. Josh brings his technical and professional experiences from WHOI, his ability to function and thrive in high pressure situations from officiating high level college basketball, and an intimate knowledge of the Cape gleaned from his passion for striped bass fishing and hiking to the team at Village Real Estate. Josh is constantly exploring different neighborhoods and conservation lands trying to find the perfect place to catch the fish of a lifetime. If you are interested in a waterfront property, there is a good chance he has seen it from the beach. An avid striped bass fishermen who has lived in every town on the upper cape, he has explored just about every mile of coastline from the Cape Cod Canal to Provincetown
Josh currently resides in Falmouth MA with his wife, two children and puggle, Chappy. Josh is actively involved in the local community serving as Past President for the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials (IAABO) and an active member of the College Basketball Officials Association (CBOA).
