Joshua Moss is a Georgia native, born and raised in Oconee County, a suburb of Athens. After graduating from Oconee County High School, he studied business management at Kennesaw State University. During his childhood, he was surrounded by real estate, construction and development – it was family business – which afforded him great exposure to ins and outs, ups and downs of the industry. Little did he know, this would become his life’s passion! He has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2003, which is also when he officially began working as a project manager in the family business. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing custom builds and spec homes for clients all over the state. He managed the construction of the properties and stood for the sales of many homes in Athens, the North Georgia Mountains and the Georgia lake country. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, dogs (he’s a Boxer dad and has a mild obsession for the breed!) and friends. He works out and train at The Training Room and does his best to take care of his health. Random fact: he is a certified yoga instructor and worked as a professional dancer after high school.
While he was born in the Athens area, he often refers to the North Georgia mountains as home. This is where he spent much of his child and adulthood. In the summer months, you will find him on the Hiawassee River or Lake Chatuge camping, kayaking, canoeing … anything outside. The purchase of a home is typically the most expensive purchase a person will make and is not something to be taken lightly. His experience in the field, as well as his ability in areas such as Midtown, Grant Park and Summerhill, as a current neighbor, sets him apart and allows him to leverage sought-after skills for various real estate needs. He genuinely becomes as devoted to his clients search and investment as they are and make it a personal goal to ensure their search is as enjoyable and profitable as possible. When collaborating with him, his clients can expect to have an agent with a vast knowledge of the market and industry that gives him the edge to negotiate on their behalf to ensure they are getting the best deal!
