Joy Collins has lived in the Central Virginia area for over eleven years. She is captivated by the beauty of Virginia, which is a quite different landscape than where she grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She continues to be in awe of the gorgeous and rich historic nature of Virginia. Joy has somewhat of a diverse background, starting in the legal field and progressing to her true passion, Real Estate. Joy has also played a role in National Security as a Special Investigator conducting Federal Background Investigations. One of her favorite aspects of that position, which is also one of her favorite parts of being a Real Estate Agent, is being able to interact with a variety of people each day. Joy has always embraced opportunities to connect with people and takes great pride in helping families and individuals with any of their real estate needs, whether it is selling their current home or finding and buying their perfect home. She knows that buying, selling, and even renting a home can be a very stressful time and prides herself on being able to make the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.Joy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the University of New Mexico. She also has an Associate's Degree in Legal Assistant Studies from the community college in Albuquerque.Joy is the mother of two girls and is married to her soul mate , Adam. Joy delights in opportunities to actively participate in the community and regularly helps by volunteering at her daughters' elementary school, as well as chaperoning activities during field trips.
