Joy is a graduate of University of Utah, was a chef/owner or a catering business, which included food styling for TV and print. She was featured in the August 2002 issue of Bon Appetit magazine in a NW Floatplane picnic story. And was a former USA Para-Ski Team member and World Champion, and has parachute jumped and downhill ski raced all over the U.S. and Europe.
