Having lived in Southbury, Oxford and Middlebury, I am intimately familiar with this area. As a widow with three young children, I attended and graduated from college and continued on to get a Masters degree in Education. I taught in Region 15 for many years. Recently I moved to a lakefront home in Sandy Hook where I enjoy gardening, reading and watching my children and grandchildren enjoy boating, fishing and other water activities.
While teaching in Region #15, I had a reputation as a dedicated teacher. I was selected to mentor beginning teachers. My experience as an educator prepared me for being a real estate agent because the skills are similar - planning, implementing goals and communicating effectively until success is reached. I am also E-Pro certified which means I am qualified to do electronic transactions on the internet.
I have a proven track record of being "hard-working" committed and will persevere until that goal is reached. Keeping current with a changing marketplace is important. I believe in "staying on top" of today's real estate issues and providing my clients with the most up-to-date knowledge so their real estate transaction will be a successful one.
