Joyce did it again! We went through the selling and buying process again after doing it in 2021. I called her on a Thursday and my home was staged that Saturday on the market on Monday and full asking price a week later. We then moved to finding another home and she was our bulldog in heels from the purchase to the closing to being our general contractor after closing to make sure all minor repairs was done before we moved in. I would like to strongly recommend Joyce Stewart from Charles Rutenberg Realty, who recently sold our house. We read her reviews online and were impressed by what prior clients had to say about her handling of their real estate sales.

Well, we were not let down! She went above and beyond in the selling of our house. From the beginning to the end she was actively involved.

She saw the hidden potential in our house and got to work immediately with recommendations on how to make others see it also. Her staging of our house was so impressive that when I saw the pictures, I for a moment could not believe it was ours. At times I wished we could have hired as an interior consultant years ago before we decided to sell our house. She truly has an eye for transforming houses.

Joyce was always available to answer a question and there for moral support in a sometimes emotional move.

She loves her job and you can tell by her extreme enthusiasm. And don’t let me forget, what a great marketer she is. I’d never sold a home before, and was a bit apprehensive about the entire process, especially because i live out of state. Joyce explained everything, and reexplained everything when asked! To be fair, I never worked with Joyce

I would like to begin by saying that I am not a person who writes reviews but I have to tell everyone what an amazing person Joyce is. I want to put the realtor part to the side for the moment. Joyce represented a buyer who was purchasing my home from the moment that she arrived her professionalism was superb she noticed that my MLS listing was incorrect and pointed it out! Please keep in mind Joyce is the BUYERS AGENT! My agent was not even present…we discussed my situation that I had to sell my home to purchase a home in Florida simultaneously and Joyce looked at me shook my hand and said “We will make it happen” if it was not for Joyce I would have lost the home in Florida my agent never even met Joyce did not come to home inspection did not even attend the closing. So in closing if you want honesty trust worthy and integrity Joyce is the person you will need to represent you. In my case she was truly my agent as well. Joyce is caring, detail oriented, respectful, and kind. She worked with us for nearly 3 years to find the perfect place for my family and I. We were definitely picky and needy as it was our first time buying, but Joyce always had our back and was firm with sellers to try and get us what we wanted no matter what.

In one of our first open house visits she noted my height, I'm 6'4, and every house we ever saw after that she always made sure before we ever went to see any homes that all the ceilings were good for me and I won't get any head injuries.

After finding the home we bought we're still in touch with Joyce, she has become a part of our family. She came Christmas Eve and dropped my family off a beautiful and thoughtful gift basket.

I’m so happy I chose Joyce to represent me as my realtor when I decided to sell my condo. She sat down with me and explained the whole process from start to finish. Joyce created a beautifully done video introducing my complex. When it came to showing my condo, Joyce stressed safety with all potential buyers and required everyone to wear booties, gloves, and masks. Joyce also would provide information on the realtor coming to bring any potential buyers so I knew who to expect later that day. Joyce also recommended a great real estate lawyer which further made this whole process go smoothly. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends who are looking to sell or buy real estate in the future.

It took us longer than we expected to find our new home but when we did she made sure we got it and we are really happy with it. We stumbled on Joyce by accident. We were on the verge of wanting to sell our home and looking to buy at the same time. Joyce, held our hand through the entire process. She staged our home beautifully and we received several offers above asking within days.
Finding a home to buy was a bit more difficult, but Joyce knew what we were looking for and found it for us. It took a bit of time, but she was in our corner every step of the way.

My husband and I are thankful and fortunate to have had Joyce Stewart as our buyer's agent. For first-time home buyers such as ourselves Joyce was perfect. She was consistently there for us as a guide, teacher and advocate throughout the process. From our initial zoom meeting to successfully closing on our purchase, whenever there was a question Joyce was always available with an answer, information or advice (or all three!). She has expert knowledge of the market, the different neighborhoods in addition to the physical features of the properties themselves. Joyce was able to patiently, thoroughly and thoughtfully lay out options for us given our needs. She is as skilled a listener as she is a communicator and proved equally saavy when negotiating with sellers and their brokers on our behalf. My wife and I started looking for houses over two years ago. At the time, we started looking without an agent just to get acquainted with the market. Pretty soon, we discovered that the home buying process was not as described in books and we would need an agent. We read in books we should pay attention to the agents we met at open houses and interview a few to find one we liked. I suggested two agents who I remembered and seemed nice. After some thinking, my wife said “Do you remember that woman that made us sign those documents at one of the open houses? The one that explained to us that she was the seller’s agent and what that meant? I want her representing US.” So, we reached out to Joyce to interview her.

From the first interview, Joyce displayed a lot of professionalism, knowledge and passion for real estate. This is a career for her, and not something she does on the side. She was always on time and prepared for an appointment and made us feel more at ease throughout the process. She does her due diligence (as was evident when we first met her as the listing agent at an open house). In fact, she was the only listing agent to ever explain that very crucial detail to us in the many, many houses we saw.

Joyce is responsive and friendly and does everything she can to secure her client’s home. If you are serious about home ownership, Joyce is who you want on your team. Joyce sold our house in Brooklyn. The transaction was very involved, as there were issues with the building, but she hurdled them all. She is very detailed in explaining the process. Questions were all answered in a timely manner. Phone calls were returned promptly. Her patience is remarkable, and she has the ability to listen keenly and communicate effectively with you. She patiently repeats herself. If she has an appointment with you, she is on time. If I had another house to sell, I would use this lady again.

My experience With Joyce Stewart was excellent. She went above and beyond to make sure the apartment was staged right. Also payed attention to every detail and walked me through the whole process. Brought people to clean the apartment ,and staged it because I was out of state. Two of my friends recommended her and they were on the money about Ms. Stewart. She did the same with my friends. Very knowledgeable , assertive, a hardworking realtor. She really works for her commission not like others I have met that want a fast easy sale. I was executor of an estate and was very stressed before meeting her about selling and the process. She made it so easy. I highly recommend Ms. Stewart if you want a quality realtor. 5 stars and I would give her 6 stars if possible .

This lady was God-sent. Once I signed with Joyce she relieved me of the burden of selling my house. She was very hands on and saved me a lot of work as well as telling me the things I needed to do that I knew nothing about. She went to the town, did her research about the history of the real estate, discovered shortcomings that I knew nothing about and helped me correct them.

I was shown what I needed to do to make the house more buyer desirable and was helped to find the people to help me prepare the house for sale as well as introducing me to the real estate lawyer who was great and reasonable.

Joyce is hard working, involved and throws her heart and soul into the process of preparing and getting a house sold. I would have been lost without her. So much to say about this lady right here she was like a god sent when i found her.It all began last year around September when i decided to start looking at houses went through like 4 different agents who were so unprofessional and who i think weren't interested in what i wanted at all nomatter how many times i told them what i was looking for they kept ignoring me and just kept doing them i was eventually at my breaking point to just give up when i came across joyce's name and from that day till now she has become more like a friend than an agent.Her knowledge of the area and houses and community was beyond spectacular at all times she had my interest and my kids interest at heart she listened carefully to what i wanted and needed and she never stopped till she did exactly that and gave me exactly what i want at no time she was not available when i needed her morning noon or night she was there whether to answer my text call or email all i can say is with joyce stewart as your agent you will feel more relaxed and stress free when looking for a home whether you're a first time home buyer or not she is ready willing and able to give you what you deserve .Thank you So much joyce for giving me and my kids our first home i really appreciate it
