Judith Ivey

Originally from historic Woodstock, Vermont, Judith Ivey has a diverse background living in cities around the world. Judith Ivey spent her early youth traveling Europe, spending a year in Provence, before moving to New York City. Judith Ivey studied journalism at the New School for Social Research and went into the film industry to produce commercials for a variety of artists and creative people. The job took her to San Francisco and Hanover, New Hampshire, where Judith Ivey eventually managed a film and video production company for three years prior to moving to Santa Fe in 1991.

Judith Ivey fell in love with this remarkable city and its culture—so different from places she’s lived before and yet so aligned with her inspired sensibility. Here Judith Ivey worked for Rick Johnson Advertising in Albuquerque. Judith Ivey also ran the Santa Fe office for a Dallas-based production company before starting my own business, Santa Fe Pictures, which represented high-end commercial directors.
