Even in this hot seller’s market, getting a house ready for sale is no easy feat if you want it done right— Julia was there for us at every turn helping us getting in all the contractors we needed to get the job done on a timeline that worked for our goals. We went through a roller coaster ride this past year with selling our home and buying a new one. We had 3 contracts fall through before our 4th contract finally was successful with selling our home. I can highly recommend Julia! This was not only my first time buying a house, but it was also a short sale that was long and a little stressful. Julia was excellent at answering all of my questions, without ever making me feel like it was a stupid question even though I went into this knowing very little. The short sale was very long, but Julia checked in with me every week and let me know an update on the progress. She is an excellent communicator in every respect. At the outset, she clearly and thoroughly explained the entire process. She listened attentively to our description of what we were looking for, and on no occasion did we ever feel pressured to step outside our comfort zone. All along the way, whenever we had questions, she provided clear, direct answers within hours. We really appreciated the way she made sure we understood potential risks: for instance when she explained how property taxes could change after CHAP credits expire. At every step she kept us apprised about just what to expect and just what we needed to do.

We recently bought our first house, and Julia Nyman was there to help us every step of the way. I really enjoyed how she gave us the tools to sift through the vast ocean of property listings from the comfort of our living room, and when we picked the home that we wanted to buy, she helped us get everything together and made sure we were on the path to success.

Julia is everything that you would want in a realtor and more! From her calm but very knowledgeable personality, to feeling like you were her ONLY client, Julia was simply perfect to work with. Buying our first home, my husband and I were uncertain about the whole process, as we have never gone through this process before and didn’t know what to expect. Julia held our hands and communicated with us the WHOLE way. From our first meeting in Panera Bread all the through signing our papers at settlement, she walked us through step by step. There were zero surprises through the process of buying our home. Julia was supportive and listened to our wants/needs in a home; she had great ideas and different options for us to look at as well. Julia has an “open door” policy, you could call, text or email her, and she ALWAYS response back in a timely fashion, the longest wait we had was maybe 2hours for a response. We came across Julia at an open house, and she invited us to lunch soon afterwards to discuss options for my wife and I, first time home buyers. She came absolutely prepared with a packet of information breaking down what the entire home buying process would be. I had several questions about a VA loan, locations, credit scores, and types of homes that would be best for us, and she had lengthy answers to every one of them.

She reached out to us many times over the process, checking in and providing feedback and updates, as well as laying out everything we needed to send her in the simplest way possible. Everyone always said home buying is kind of a nightmare process, but with Julia, it was an absolute treat and a great experience. From making document signing easy and fast, to recommending a lender whom was also amazing to work with, to even just making us feel welcome and happy to see each and every home she hand picked for us based on our criteria, we always felt like we were in the best hands.

Not only did Julia take the time to get to know me, my girlfriend, and our pets she worked effortlessly to ensure we found a home that met all our goals. Julia Nyman is one of the greatest people my wife and I have ever met and an absolutely incredible Realtor on top of that. Julia is down to earth, fun, incredibly knowledgeable and beyond devoted to her job and her clients.

Julia helped us sell our home in October of 2017. She met with us on several occasions prior to listing our home. She provided her opinions and suggestions but still listened to us and worked with us. She truly cared about us and our best interest through out the whole process. Julia was constantly in touch and checking up on us. As much as we thought our questions were dumb or annoying or redundant, Julia answered each one professionally and happily. She was always accessible and there for us. She communicated with us every step of the way which was HUGE because, let's be honest, most of us have no clue about how selling a home works. Our house was listed on a Monday and was SOLD by Wednesday of the same week! Julia's help with prepping our home, updating our home, and staging our home was incredible. She didn't have us go overboard but instead provided small suggestions and provided us with the smallest things to help stage our home. I had all sorts of thoughts and suggestions (thanks HGTV...) and Julia said that most of it wasn't needed. She couldn't have been more correct. I could go on and on about how incredible, easy and stress free the whole home selling process was with Julia at our side.

We met Julia at an open house in Bel Air and we instantly knew she was the Realtor for us. We scheduled an appointment soon after and she went through the entire home buying process with us to ensure that we knew what to expect as everything unfolded. What can I say, the buying and selling process can be an extremely stressful time as a family...especially with a little one at home. Julia took the time to get to know us, our needs, and what we needed to have happen in order to both sell and buy a house. She navigated us through the selling process, from staging to pricing.
