Julia Montei

Originally from Ohio, Julia Montei moved to Sarasota in 2014 and brings over a decade of experience in real estate, specializing in luxury and waterfront properties. She creates a customized business plan for each client, combining strategic marketing, deep market knowledge, and skilled negotiation. Julia is known for her clear communication, professional integrity, and commitment to guiding every client through a seamless and successful transaction.

A consistent top producer, Julia has earned the Coldwell Banker International Diamond Society award through 2023, placing her in the top 15 percent of agents globally. She holds several of the industry’s most respected designations, including Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and Certified Waterfront Specialist. She has been recognized in the Florida Realtors Honor Society for 8 consecutive years, reflecting her ongoing commitment to education, leadership, and professional excellence.

Before transitioning into real estate, Julia held leadership roles in nonprofit administration and banking, managing educational and outreach programs, volunteer coordination, marketing, and financial operations. This foundation shaped her client-first philosophy and her ability to manage complex transactions with skill and confidence.

Julia has served on both local and state Realtor Association boards and is a former board member of the Humane Society of Sarasota County. She has received numerous awards, including the Florida Realtors Newcomer Award, the Realtor Association of Sarasota Manatee Newcomer Award, the Women’s Council of Realtors Florida Be Real Award, and the Women’s Council of Realtors Florida Visionary Award for launching the first state Council Leadership Program. When she’s not working, Julia enjoys gardening, appreciating Florida’s natural beauty, and spending time on her small farm with her rescue dogs and ducks.
