Julie is not just the best real estate agent you can hope for. She is also just a great human being. I partnered with her before in my search for my first property and she was highly responsive, super competent and deeply cares about you as a client. After a failed attempt to rent out my condo with another property manager, I asked her to help me out and she got it taken care of in under one week. It was unbelievable. She managed the process end to end while keeping me up to date at all times. I barely had to do any work which was more than fine by me! I have recommended her to many of my friends and family due to her high quality of service and they all had the same experience. She just deeply cares about her clients. Nobody deserves more business than her in the San Mateo, Burlingame area. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! I never write reviews btw but she is just the best. Just work with her for 5 minutes and you’ll know what I mean.

Update: She helped me find a second tenant and again in quite a quick time. She always goes above and beyond and earns her business with me. Couldnt be more happy working with her.

Julie is an amazing agent. She has great local expertise, works very hard for her clients and is a savvy, smart negotiator. In our first encounter with Julie my husband and I were very impressed with her ethics and methods and our admiration for her skills only increased throughout the process. She had us staged and on the market very, very quickly and we sold with multiple offers - and that was all during COVID. We can also vouch for her nervous seller hand holding - whenever we had a question or concern Julie responded promptly and reassuringly. We are happy to highly recommend Julie.

Julie's work was outstanding with every single facet of our home buying and selling. We hired Julie to both buy our new home and sell our former home. She is highly skilled and effective, a tireless hard worker, deeply familiar with the local market and able to get the latest info, and a shrewd negotiator. Julie coordinated with our mortgage lender, escrow company, and home contractors (stagers and painters for our former home) to make everything go more smoothly. We worked with Julie to purchase our first home during the red hot market of 2021. The whole process took many months but we never felt forcefully compelled to make a hasty decision on what would be our biggest purchase to date. In a time when offers going several hundred thousand over ask without a contingency was in vogue, we never felt pressure to do something outside our comfort zone. We passed on many homes and did not overbid to win several times which in hindsight was the absolute correct move for our situation. In terms of communication channels, Julie was always readily available to talk to us via text, email, or phone call and we never felt like an afterthought even though we knew the market was bustling at the time. For home buyers/sellers especially for those looking in the Peninsula, I recommend speaking with Julie to get a true local expert's opinion on the market.

Julie was very clear in explaining the selling process and gave us great suggestions. She was not pushy and gave us plenty of time when we need to make decisions. She picked up her phone quickly everytime we called. She understood our concerns and made efforts to be helpful. She even helped to shop for and then returned some items for the house. Her experience is very much appreciated and her sense about the market is impeccable. We trusted her read and sold our house without going through “open house”.

I found Julie through sheer coincidence and what a happy one it turned out to be. Her local knowledge helped me stay away from properties with questionable budget management practices. Following that, she came up with an innovative way to get our foot in with a property. Finally, she used her early agent network access to keep me in the know about upcoming properties, at a time when it felt like nothing was working out. I eventually closed on one of those properties.

Julie's manner is direct and no-nonsense. She is completely transparent and always helpful - even with the (sometimes) bizarre questions I would come up with. I can think of no better person to walk the journey toward owning your California home, and would recommend her whole-heartedly, always.

Julie was our buyer agent 4 years ago, and she is our buyer agent again when we are considering upgrading. She is patient and knowledgeable, knowing the local market very well. As a buyer agent, she gave us a lot of valuable recommendations based on our situation and expectation. In this crazy market, we don't want to lose control in the bid war, Julie keeps us on the reasonable track which is very important to buyer. UPDATE: As promised 4 years ago, Julie continues to be our real estate agent and is hands down the best! She not only was able to help us buy our move up home UNDER asking in San Carlos, better yet, she was able to sell our first home (that she helped us purchase ) OVER asking in this particularly tough market. Our home sold in less than a week!! I'll continue to recommend her to anyone who needs an agent as I truly think she's the driving force of getting GREAT deals done.

2018: Julie is hands down THE BEST realtor. We had been looking at houses for months working with two prior realtors and lost house after house. We had actually given up on Foster City thinking that we would not be able to get into that market. Once we switched to working with Julie, we knew immediately we were in great hands. She has incredible knowledge of the local market: every house we brought up, she was able to tell us about it in great detail. Just shortly after working with her she got us an amazing house, at an amazing price, in our dream location of Foster City. She was truly the driving force getting the deal closed. She constantly followed up with the listing agent and kept us updated throughout the negotiations, managing to get a deal agreed to in less than 24 hours after the house was listed! Even after we closed, she spent time giving us recommendations of local contractors and even gave us ideas on renovations. We can't thank her enough and have been recommending her to all of our friends. She will definitely be our realtor for all future needs.

Julie Flouty is truly the best! She has nothing but her clients interests in mind. She is knowledgeable, experienced, communicative and works well within the parameters you give her. She is well connected in the area she services, and has some creative tricks up her sleeve for finding off-market properties.

She never pushed us into homes nor did she push us away from homes. Instead she asked us how we felt about the home after each visit and let us come to our own decisions. If we were unsure, we asked her for her personal/professional opinion and only then would she influence our decision. In the end, we found a great home in a wonderful area.

Even after the deal closed, Julie has remained in close contact, sending updates on the market and calling periodically to check in. If you are looking for a hands on, knowledgeable and kind Realtor who will make you feel secure throughout the stressful transaction process, Julie is your woman!
