My experience with realtors over years has been pretty cut and dried, until October 2022. After finding Julie Fontanez on line, I chose her because she speaks fluent Spanish. I felt this would be an asset, because my home was in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood.

We met, and she then introduced me to her business partner and husband Robert Laing. They work as a solid team.

Julie & Robert are a dream team! We had experience of purchasing a condo, but it was a completely different ball game being first time single-family-home buyers. From the initial call with Julie, she asked thoughtful questions to get an idea of what we were looking for, and stayed in constant contact throughout the process. Julie & Robert were very patient with us as we asked questions and deliberated over things we were unsure of. And, they offered guidance and expertise when we really needed it: making an offer, the inspection report, and more. Julie and her partner/husband Robert are fantastic to work with. They put a great deal of care and attention into everything they do, and it really shows. I successfully bought a new home with them in April 2022.

Prior to working with Julie, I had been on the market for a new home for over five years. I had very specific criteria, and I had no luck working with other realtors. One day, I walked by the E&V storefront in downtown Seattle and stopped in, and I was very lucky that I did so!

From the initial meeting, Julie was attentive to my needs and concerns around finding a new place. After five years of home search prior to meeting her, I had almost given up hope, but Julie remained confident and so I was on board.

Even though the housing market was crazy, we found a new place within 3 months! And Julie also listed my old place and it sold within two weeks for an excellent price. She made the whole process very smooth and stress-free, and her experience helped me to win the bid as well as avoid a potential issue with selling my old place. I was grateful to have an agent like her, who was not only on top of her game, but also putting in personal attention to my deal.

So if you’re a discriminating client who is tired of the home search process and just wants to buy, see Julie. like I said earlier, she found me a new place when I had almost given up hope.

Our realtors were amazing! They looked at property after property, got to know us and exactly what we wanted. Simply put, they cared about us getting exactly what we wanted. They listened. They didn’t just want a sell, they cared that we got all of our wants and if it took us years, they weren’t concerned. Julie found us our dream property and more. We thought we could only afford 5-10 acres, she found us 20 acres and better land then we had previously found. Robert ( her husband, we said team) walked us through all the financial transactions and terms of our contract. He looked our for our best interests every step of the way. He gave us solid advice to protect us and our large down payment. That means something! They were more than a 5 star team. I wouldn’t have ANYONE but them for realtors!

She showed us every single house we wanted to see. If a new house popped up we had an appointment to see it later that day. It’s a bittersweet moment when you realize it’s time to leave the home you’ve raised your children in and move to a new phase of your life. My husband and I found ourselves on that doorstep, unsure how to proceed until we found Julie. It was purely accidental. We wanted to view a property and she was the agent that got the call. It was also kismet. From the first meeting, I could tell there was something special about her, as a realtor and a person. She was calm and assured and professional, but she was also sympathetic, kind, and warmhearted. Julie immediately set us up to receive notice of every new listing that matched our search criteria, and she tirelessly and graciously took us to view every listing, even when I said things like, “This is probably not the house, but we might as well see it.” She never pressured us to decide, and she quickly grew attuned to what we wanted. Julie also drew on a large network of inspectors and other professionals who assisted us in the buying process. When the time came to list our house, Julie made what I believe to be significant suggestions that enabled us to attract a buyer and kept us encouraged and uplifted through a process that was emotionally challenging. There is no way we could have made this transition with any other realtor. We feel so lucky to have found her!
