I truly enjoy Real Estate, and Love being a Realtor! That being said, as a Realtor, to help someone find that perfect home is what I continually strive to do. Purchasing a house is a huge, exasperating endeavor. Anyone who has ever purchased a home already knows this. It begins when you decide you want to move, and ends when you have moved in and made that house a Home. Having a Realtor who listens attentively, is always available, knows the area, the market, contracts, exhibits strong negotiating skills, and is beside you, to help guide you, through the Entire process, can make that endeavor truly enjoyable.
Second to helping someone find that perfect home, is helping someone with the entire selling process of their existing home. Sometimes you just need a bigger house. Sometimes you are just moving across town. Other times you are relocating to a brand new area. Whatever the reason, having an experienced Realtor to properly price your house, then market your house, is immeasurable. Pricing right the first time can result in a much quicker sale. Realtors have a vast network of knowledge which allows them to analysis the market in your specific area, and thus price your property accordingly. Keep in mind, Realtors are not the least bit bias to your home, thus removing any emotional attachment one might have, allowing them to look solely at market value.
