After growing up in Houston, Julie attended Texas A&M University and earned her degree in education. Her love of children and her desire to help others lead her to first teach middle school math and then originate mortgages. She married her college sweetheart, John and moved to Cedar Park in 2001. She and her husband really enjoy Cedar Park, where they benefit from big city amenities while still having the feel of a small-town community. Raising two active boys who play sports doesn’t leave much free time, but on those rare occasions when they aren’t at a sporting event, their family loves spending time on Lake Travis with family, friends and their miniature goldendoodle, Mayvee!
