I can’t say enough incredible things about working with Julie to buy our first home! We had been searching for a home for just under a year and working with Julie throughout it all. Julie is always quick to respond, is extremely flexible with working around non-traditional schedules and provides a ton of insight while touring homes, as well as a laugh. Throughout the whole process and especially when it came time for closing, Julie always made sure to keep us up to date on what was going on behind the scenes and to offer us whatever resources she had available once we closed and started planning our renovation. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to go on this search with, she became part of the family and we're so thankful!

Julie Sutterland is simply the best agent (buying or selling) we have engaged with in over 40 years of real estate transactions. We were making a big, complex move from across the country to an area we knew somewhat but not especially well. She respected our specific needs and preferences and shepherded our home purchase with the care and concern of a family member, but also with extreme professionalism and knowledge of the market in both CT and NY. She alerted us to potential structural and mechanical system issues, kept everyone adhering to deadlines and legal matters, and responded almost instantly to texts and emails. Julie cheerfully explored 20 properties with us in CT and NY, offering her knowledge and discreet and respectful opinion of the areas. She helped us remain focused on our own criteria and helped us move through a quagmire of complex considerations and distractions to a decision.

We left town after our purchase offer was accepted, but then, through no fault on Julie’s part, the seller’s had a legal issue, and we were left without a contract. Because we had visited so many houses together, she understood what we were looking for and what we couldn’t tolerate. Because she had listened so carefully and learned so well what we wanted, we trusted her to look at properties and take videos when we were back in our previous home, two thousand miles away. When we became interested in one of these newly listed houses, she visited our chosen property multiple times on her own, taking videos, and keeping us as informed as we’d be if we were in the neighborhood. She went on to manage the negotiations, then the inspections, and followed through on our requested repairs with impressive tenacity.

Through it all, Julie remained upbeat and kind, and she made us feel that we were the center of her attention, though we know she has a busy practice. Even after we were in the house, Julie kept in touch, offered suggestions, and helped connect us to service professionals. She is a gem and a friend, and we cannot imagine having made this move without her.

I am an attorney who represents clients in residential real estate purchases and sales. I recently represented a client in the sale of her house in Ridgefield. Julie Setterlund was the listing agent. I had not worked with Julie prior to this sale but it quickly became apparent to me that she was exceptional. At every stage of the process, Julie was prepared, organized, and working tirelessly to make our mutual client's experience as easy as possible. When issues came up with the sale (as they always do) Julie proactively addressed the issues with all of the parties which helped not only my client but she made my job a lot easier. She did an excellent job of timely communicating with our mutual client and me at every step of the way. 5 Star Service! Julie helped us look for our new home. She was always ready and willing to go the extra mile - she adapted as our search area widened due to the extremely low inventory, venturing through many areas of NY. She wrote offers quickly and accurately and presented them clearly and concisely. Our circumstances changed due to a family situation and we eventually wound up in another state, but we cannot say enough about how great it was to have Julie in our corner.

Julie Setterlund has a combination of smarts and caring. Whatever problem came up,she threw herself into the challenge, and tirelessly took the initiative to find a solution. It was a difficult decision to sell my house, and Julie was most understanding about my situation. She was not pushy or insistent, but understanding and guiding on helping me decide. Her knowledge of the current market was good. Whatever I wanted, she heard (such as not posting a For Sale sign in front of my house). She had numerous open houses and was always willing to work with me on times to show my house to perspective buyers. Once in the stage of selling, Julie worked continuously to help me down size by posting items for sale and even meeting the buyers to give them my merchandise and collect the money. She also helped with my estate sale. If you choose Julie, she will be very helpful.

Julie and Christine were FANTASTIC to work with! They were data driven and knew the market inside and out. They made sure I had incredible photos, a wonderful virtual tour, and did a lot of pre-listing advertising (i.e., coming soon). Their marketing prowess paid off when I got multiple offers in the first two days and signed a deal for $125,000 over my asking price. When it comes to Weston, Westport, Greenwich and all of Fairfield County this team is the best!

Julie has been an exceptional realtor. I honestly think that she never sleeps as she is so responsive. Every little thing she knew the answer to, or she found it out immediately.
