About Julie

Julie Sutton is a real estate expert specializing in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. She comes from a strong marketing and advertising background with a B.S. in Marketing and 10 years of experience as an Account Manager and TV Commercial Producer at DDB Chicago Advertising. Julie provides her sellers with a keen eye for aesthetics and brings her talents as “the staging guru” to every listing and has a team of interior stylists to prepare each room for photography. “The first showing is online; we’ve got one chance to visually invite the buyers in. Preparation, editing, and staging are the critical elements of effective real estate marketing.” Her team has a large inventory of furniture, rugs, lighting, art, and accessories to pull from when staging for their sellers. Sellers need to understand the difference between interior design and interior staging. The former is meant to reflect the personality and lifestyle of the homeowners. Staging is meant to do the opposite. The purpose of staging is to quiet things down in the foreground so that the home can speak for itself. By doing so, buyers can visually focus on the architectural elements of the home, like layout, room sizes, flooring material, windows, millwork, just to name a few.

Julie has built custom homes and regularly consults for clients and investors on a variety of projects including complete renovations, new construction, and multi-unit developments. She regularly attends architectural meetings and is entrusted with making design selections for these clients.

Julie and her team pride themselves on being a full-service brokerage team and work round the clock, seven days a week. They each live in the communities they serve and are local experts when it comes to schools, community, and what’s happening around town. Julie and Will reside in Hinsdale after moving from Lakeview in 2010. They have three wonderful kids, Caroline — age 14, Charlie — age 12, and Jack — age 10. “These busy three keep us on our toes and we love every minute of it!”
