Julie Zerbe

Juli Zerbe is the broker/owner of Sage Real Estate Co. She was raised in Julian from birth and has a broad knowledge of San Diego County communities and the rural back country. She holds a B.A. from Point Loma College. Growing up as the daughter of an Architect, Juli acquired a strong sense of how buildings function as homes and how homes play an integral part in sustaining harmony and fulfillment in individuals.

Juli also especially appreciates the rich lifestyle that small, historic, and rural communities have to offer. Her roots run deep in Julian but her branches as a senior real estate specialist extend to Ramona, Poway, Alpine and Escondido.

Juli was licensed by the California Bureau of Real Estate in 1998 and became a broker in 2003 and has worked diligently to learn the complexities of real estate from marketing to pricing and negotiations. She specializes in presenting listings carefully and directly to the market that is best suited for the home. Juli is a real estate columnist for the Julian News giving expert analysis of the Julian market and helpful real estate tips for buyers and sellers. Juli and her husband, Joe Hutchinson, have rehabbed and sold a number of properties and currently own eight rentals in Alabama, Texas, and California. Juli’s other interests include historic preservation, community service, hiking, oil painting, sustainable living, and gardening.
