About Juliet

Juliet started her career in Real Estate alongside her mom, Loretta Cavanaugh, who founded the business as Cavanaugh Associates in 1980. Joining her Mom in 1986 and becoming licensed as an agent soon after, Juliet has been immersed in all things real estate for over 35 years. Since becoming the broker of Cavanaugh & Company in 2005, Juliet continually leads her team to excellence and allows each to find their niche in the business that brings out their best. Juliet’s particular area of expertise is leasing and management, and she has received the distinction of achieving the designation of Accredited Residential Manager by the Institute of Real Estate Management. This specialization and training have given Juliet the enviable honor to have her team named the #1 leasing agency in central Connecticut for 5 years running. Juliet’s extensive experience in the leasing and management of small residential properties has made her the local “go to” person for other Realtors needing advice and bits of guidance in that niche market.

Juliet currently co-chairs the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Real Estate Council and also serves on the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Real Estate Management and the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors. She is also a State Director and member of the Professional Standards Committee for the Connecticut Association of Realtors.

Juliet is involved in various community projects and is an avid and devoted contributor to all animal related causes including the Connecticut Humane Society As a Notary Public, she volunteers her services to individuals under the care of the Middlesex Hospital Hospice and Palliative Care Unit – helping them with end of life legal documents.

Juliet calls Portland home and when not working, enjoys spending time in the kitchen with her husband, Greg, trying new restaurants, traveling, relaxing with friends and family over good food and wine and taking lots of walks with her “kids” Lily and Barkley – black and yellow lab rescue pups that love going to the office!
