Justin Mellon

As a Washington native, born and raised in small-town Sequim on the Olympic Peninsula, Justin and his friends were encouraged to learn, experiment, and take calculated risks. He has carried those valuable lessons from childhood into his career as a real estate agent, property investor, and trusted advisor for his buyer and seller clients.

Working in the construction industry while attending the University of Washington introduced him to a love of older homes and the pride that comes from helping to craft and shape their next chapter. Working with his hands, collaborating with contractors, and envisioning a home’s yet-to-be-realized potential is a large part of Justin's professional and personal life. He specializes in helping his clients—buyers and sellers alike—envision and execute their home’s highest potential.

Client satisfaction is Justin's #1 goal and his buyer and seller testimonials reflect his success. Justin joined Lake & Company Real Estate in 2005. The brokerage was founded in 1982 with the conviction that being an independent firm—away from the trappings of a nationally recognized brand name—was desirable long before “indie” became a household word. Justin leads a wonderful team of longtime colleagues that includes Justyna Kieko and his brother, Andrew Mellon.

When Justin is not working with clients or on homes, he is out exploring. Justin, his wife, and his son enjoy hiking, backcountry skiing, surfing, paddle boarding, and discovering places off the beaten path—both locally and around the world.
