Kamil J. Nowakowski is a Managing Principal Broker, real estate operator, and entrepreneur with two decades of experience building, scaling, and modernizing real estate businesses across the Chicagoland market. His journey began as a Polish immigrant at the age of 15, arriving in the United States with limited resources but a strong work ethic, resilience, and determination to succeed. Through discipline and adaptability, he quickly became fluent in English and began building a career rooted in entrepreneurship and real estate.
Over the years, Kamil has developed a reputation as a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who thrives in dynamic and evolving environments. He is known for identifying opportunities where others see obstacles and executing with precision, integrity, and long-term vision. His entrepreneurial path reflects a consistent willingness to embrace change, take on complex challenges, and build sustainable value.
Today, Kamil is the Founder & Managing Principal Broker of NowEquity Real Estate, operating under Solution Key Realty LLC (founded in 2007). Through NowEquity, he leads a modern, independent brokerage platform integrating residential, luxury, commercial, and investment real estate with technology-driven marketing and data-informed execution. He remains actively involved in brokerage leadership while also structuring and executing complex real estate transactions.
Kamil’s expertise includes acquisitions, off-market and distressed assets, tax-deed and occupied property strategies, portfolio assembly, and value-add redevelopment. He has represented buyers and companies at real estate auctions, advised developers and construction teams, and managed single-family and multifamily projects from acquisition through stabilization or disposition. His experience spans creative financing structures, private capital, and portfolio-level execution.
