Kara V. Richetti is a REALTOR® with REAL Broker whose lifelong passion for real estate began after a fulfilling career as an Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Analyst for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Trading in her security clearance for a lockbox key, Kara has since built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and results.
Born near the turquoise waters and white sand beaches of Florida, Kara grew up loving the Sunshine State and went on to graduate from Florida State University in 2000. After meeting her husband Ryan, they split their time between Florida and Virginia, ultimately making Northern Virginia her professional home while also maintaining strong ties to her roots in Florida.
Today, Kara is licensed and actively sells in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Florida, and Tennessee. She also holds Broker’s licenses in Virginia and Maryland and previously served as the Managing Broker of her office in Northern Virginia, giving her clients a unique advantage across multiple markets. She has personally and professionally bought and sold countless properties, developing expertise in residential, investment, and vacation properties from the Florida Panhandle to the Virginia Potomac and beyond.
Her clients consistently praise her keen understanding of real estate markets, her ability to navigate complex negotiations, and her marketing skills that bring consistent, profitable results. One past client described the experience best: “Kara made a normally stressful process almost seamless and, at every turn, went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we received the best deal.”
When she’s not helping clients find their dream homes, Kara can be found working out, playing tennis, hiking, or enjoying the outdoors with her husband Ryan and their three boys—Roman, and twins Rocco and Renzo.
