Karen has been so helpful throughout the whole home-buying experience. From day 1, she has been incredibly proactive helping us get everything in order to make the home buying experience as easy as possible - especially as first-time home buyers. Karen was excellent at staying in contact with us, giving us daily updates on where things were with offers we had made, and made sure that the seller's agent was moving things along on their end. She kept everything organized, which would have otherwise been overwhelming for us. We really appreciated the information Karen provided at each step to help us decipher all of the nuances of home buying and home ownership. Would 110% recommend, and we know we will be reaching back out to Karen if we ever decide to sell this home!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Karen. She was patient and kind and provided expert guidance throughout the process. It got a bit stressful at times with a demanding buyer, and I had problems staying calm, but Karen kept her cool, didn’t take it personally and managed to validate my feelings while also making clear the realities of the situation. Her expertise really made a difference. Her husband Paul was super helpful as well, even purchasing and installing a CO detector for us. I highly, enthusiastically recommend this team!

Karen Catania is the best real estate agent I have ever worked with.
I was out of state buyer with limited knowledge of the EDH/Folsom area. She has wealth of knowledge about the local area and always gave very honest opinion. She worked really hard giving us countless virtual tours and was very patient throughout the process.
Karen and Paul are thorough professionals. I would hire them again and highly recommend to others.

Karen and Paul make an excellent team! Kind, professional and Both are on it and super responsive. I was texting Karen houses at all hours of the day and her responses where prompt and informative. They are the best team and you definitely want them if your looking for a house. They will meet you at all hours of the day to fit a house viewing into your schedule. They fight for you and make sure that you are getting the best bang for your buck. I had so many questions at all hours of the day and the Cantinas always responded and answered there phones. Everything was super smooth and stress free. If you are looking for realtors that have your best interest in mind, are proactive and full of knowledge this is the team for you!

I was from out of state and had to fly in for a family emergency that turned into dealing with a sick family member and then having to sell there home. Granted there was a ton of stress from dealing with the very ill family member and then add that we are from Illinois and this was all taking place in California. I can not stress enough that Karen and Paul were amazing and god sent. They not only were there almost like they were family and wanted to make the best for us but also made this process so easy and well informed. They helped with everything including the facts that a lot needed to be done and contractors taken care of and I was 2/3 the way across the country. None the less everything got done and the stress was minimal. Can not stress enough to at least call them.... Talk to them and you should get the same feeling. They were amazing and can not say enough Thank you to them for what they did for us. Again if you have not called them.... Please do it will be worth your time.

Karen & Paul were amazing before, during, and after the sale. They are, without question, the best real estate professionals I have worked with over the years. Karen patiently looked for just the right home that met, not some, but all of the items on my checklist. First, they helped stage and list my prior home in El Dorado Hills and priced it appropriately; the listing went "pending" within 48 hours! I could hardly believe it. Second, we started the process of looking at many homes in the Folsom area and ultimately landed on the perfect place. After the sale, Paul was instrumental in working with me, the builder, and their representing real estate agent to finalize items on a punch-list that there agreed upon prior to closing. It took months of ongoing outreach, but with Paul's perseverance, all of the issues were addressed to our satisfaction without my having to directly intervene. It's that type of stellar service after the sale that, in my opinion, makes the biggest difference when choosing a real estate professional. You can find no better partners to assist with finding your dream home than Karen & Paul Catania. Without a doubt, I would recommend their service to any friend or family member and will certainly be using them for my future real estate transactions!

We were living in the Bay Area and relocating to El Dorado Hills. Karen was extremely flexible and so responsive. In the current market where homes were receiving several offers, Karen helped us to successfully negotiate purchasing the first home we put an offer in on. Paul and Karen Catania provided amazing support and service in our search for a new home in El Dorado Hills. They were super flexible and accommodating, especially given that we were coming up from the South Bay, and it should be noted, this was during Covid. Paul packed several home walkthroughs into a day and was very clear and informative about Covid protocols. We came up to EDH three times and were able to see enough inventory to narrow down our wants/needs pretty quickly. Paul has a wealth of information about the area and the nuances of various neighborhoods. He also connected us with an excellent mortgage broker. We were extremely lucky to have been referred to Paul and Karen they have made this entire process incredibly easy for us especially for first-time buyers. They were patient with us and understanding as we had changes of heart and always looked out for us and our best interests. I would readily recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home, it’s not easy to go through this the first time, but they took a major load off our shoulders.

We tried to be as efficient as possible and make everything as easy for Paul and Karen as well as our lender, they all returned that in stride by being as quick to respond and answer questions as we were to sign documents.

We didn't know Paul or Karen before we decided to move to the area. They took an over abundance of time to make us feel welcome and show us literally a hundred properties. They had extensive knowledge in all areas of the foothills, EDH, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Placerville, Folsom, Rescue, etc.....They listened to what we desired, even though we gave them a wide variety of what we were looking for. They went above and beyond. The waited and stayed at a storage facility with our movers, storing our furniture when we couldn't be there. They spent 8 hours with the company without our presence, just to make sure it went smoothly. The drafted several viable offers, and gave advice when we needed it the most. They helped us find a home that we are very happy with, and they truly get all the credit making it happen. We owe so much to Paul and Karen. Thank you. I would highly recommend this fantastic Husband and Wife Team, to look out for your family.
