About Karen

Karen was born in Bangkok, and have lived in New Jersey, Virginia, Kansas and Fayetteville, NC before making her permanent home here in Raleigh over 30 years ago. Karen’s father served in the Army and as a child, they moved every year. He was stationed at Fort Bragg and upon retirement our family settled in the Raleigh area. This personal experience created an interest in her for looking at homes, understanding the building process, interior design, and architecture. It started as a hobby and grew into a career in which she first started in property management.

Karen began her career in property management in 1987 and successfully oversaw the establishment of many Raleigh rental neighborhoods. In 2009, she transitioned into residential sales and am so glad that she did! Karen thrives on the feeling of truly helping someone realize their dream of home ownership or selling their hold so they can move on to their next life’s adventure.

Karen has lived in the area for so long and enjoy introducing transferees to the area – being their tour guide – really showing them all that the Triangle has to offer, not just showing them homes. She is proud of her ability to really understand the needs of her buyers, sellers, and work diligently to meet them. Karen is also very meticulous and make sure both Buyers and Sellers understand the process, the paperwork, and the local Real Estate Market.
