Karen was great. She worked with us to get the house in perfect order (well she didn't come over and paint but she did point out what was needed :-) ). The first buyer that walked through put in the offer that we accepted. It was for full asking price and the buyer was flexible to our close date request. Karen walked us through the possibilities of not finding the perfect buyer if we wanted to hold out for more money. When you are buying, selling, or renting real estate, Karen Cooper is our go to gal. She understands the market and gives you an honest assessment so you can move quickly. Karen recently found a qualified tenant to lease our daughter's condo for 2 years. With the market improving, she will be positioned to possibly sell her condo when the lease is up. Karen keeps us up to date on real estate that is moving in our area with weekly listings via her database in the price range and area we are considering for a future purchase. Karen is always available and quickly responds to requests for information. She's the best!

We were referred to Karen by our realtor to find a rental in the Loudoun County area while our house was still on the market in Richmond. Karen is extremely knowledgeable of the area and she showed us some great rentals. Shortly after viewing the rentals, we received an offer on our house, and Karen advised us to contact her mortgage consultant, which helped us decide a purchase might work better than a rental in our situation. We were referred to Karen Cooper by our neighbors, who had just sold a home with Karen. While the whole process of getting our home ready for sale and selling it has been a very stressful time, Karen always made us feel that everything was going just as planned and that we shouldn't worry. She was so patient with us and more than willing to help in any way she could, whether it be helping us pick out colors for renovations, or reassuring us that our home would sell even after 3 contracts falling through. The right buyer was out there for us and she knew it. She was very professional and warm at the same time. She also showed us several homes in Virginia while we were trying to find our perfect home. We recently purchased a house with the assistance of Karen Cooper. Having grown up in Loudoun County she has a depth of knowledge of the schools, communities, and housing options. Karen helped us examine the benefits and drawbacks of purchasing a newer home vs. an older home. She understood that our home would be a primary residence for a few years but that it would then convert into a rental property. She walked us through the available options of traditional sales, short sales and foreclosures. All of this was done electronically as we were located overseas and never actually saw the house until we moved in. She always made herself available to answer questions, even during an historic blizzard. I don't know how we would have navigated the home search/purchase from overseas without the assistance of Karen and her team

Karen took over from my initial realtor due to a family emergency. She quickly juggled me into her client list and worked with me on what I was looking in terms of sale. Once we did sell there were several issues caused by buyer's agent (from not filling out contract correctly, to not getting information back quickly, etc) that Karen handled professionally. She kept me calm and ensured that I knew what was going on. Karen is the ultimate professional. Very focused on every detail. She does extensive research to price a property for sale and uses all tools available during the preview and showing process. I was really impressed at how she handled the negotiation process on our first contract offer. A counter offer was necessary with some adjustments to certain contract provisions. She seemed to anticipate what the other party was willing to accept and finally all of our changes were adopted by the prospective buyer. Also Karen is good at navigating all the property tests and inspections such as well, septic, radon and other various inspections involved with a country property. Her professionalism is evident from the time of listing thru to the final settlement.

Karen is amazing. She sold our townhouse in a week! She is very friendly and warm; I felt comfortable working with her immediately. This was the first time we have sold a house. She made it very easy to understand and took care of everything so quickly professionally for us. She went above and beyond... In order to close, the HOA said we needed to match the storm door to the trim. Karen offered the new owners a very generous Home Depot gift card to get a new door.
